Stargazer’s Neck Pain
As I gazed up at the stars so bright,
A pain began to throb with might,
Within my neck, a searing ache,
As if my spine was about to break.
But still I gazed up at the sky,
The constellations caught my eye,
And though my neck was full of pain,
My love for stars would not wane.
For in those stars I found a peace,
A sense of wonder that would never cease,
And though my body may complain,
My soul was lifted by the starry domain.
So I'll endure this stargazer's pain,
For the beauty of the heavens I can't restrain,
And though my neck may suffer the strain,
My love for stars will always remain.
